ROAD BOARD ELECTION.
NOMINATIONS FOR MT. ROSKILL. The nominations of candidates for the Mount Roskill Road Board closed at noon to-day with the returning officer. Mr. J. \\ arren. There are twentv candidates for nine vacancies. The following sitting members ha.e offered themselves for re-election:—Messrs. A. St C Belcher. W. W. Kerr, T. Davies, L. A. Tozer. E. \^. 1-oote, E. S. Jones, and J. R. Robertson. The other contestants are Messrs. G. E. Tansley. S. Scarborough. E. Herd. F. Ward. E. A. Pcarce, J.. .J. Hamlet. .T. Patterson. J. Donald T Cummack. S. I. Goodall. A. Roberts. W. K. Swales. J. H. Cooper. The election is to be held on Katurdav Mav .">.
