PONSONBY CLUB.
The Ponsonby Flying Club flew the ladles' bracelet race on Saturday from Palmerston North, an airline distance of 248 miles. The birds were liberated by the stationmaster at 7.30 a.m., and the winning bird, the property of Mr. S. Webb, did the journey in 6 hours 25 minutes, registering a Telocity of 1135 yards per minute.
