PAPAKURA CLUB'S SEASON.
PAPAKURA, Saturday. The Papakura Golf Club held the official openlng at Its links for the season to-day. There *»« a large attendance, comprising 100 players, and including members of the Otahuhu. Rverslie, Pukekohe and Waiuku Clubs. Mr. E. D. McLennan, M.P.. declared the links open for play, and Miss McLennan drove the first Mil. A mixed foursomes match was won by Miss McLennan (Papakura) and Croxon (Otahuhu), *™th a net score of 43 for the 12 holes. Mrs. Hip kins and McDonald were runnersHP- with a net score of 47. The winners' net score was four under bogey.
