OPOTIKI, Sunday. Nominations closed yesterday for two vacancies on the Opotiki County Council caused by the resignations o£ Messrs. J. M. Butler and F. C. Parkinson. For the coast riding, which Mr. Butler had represented, Mr. W. G. Saxby's was the only nomination, and for the Waioeka! riding the only nominee was Mr. F. C. Parkinson.
