DEATH IN HOSPITAL.
MR. W. SCOTT SUCCUMBS. EDEN TERRACE FATALITY. Mr. William Scott, who was' thrown from his cart in Eden Terrace last Wednesday and rolled under the vehicle, died in the Auckland Hospital on Saturday evening as a result of the injuries he received. One of the wheels of the cart passed over Mr. Scott's neck. His face was pressed to the ground, and a pipe he was smoking was driven into his throat, pentrating his neck.
Mr. Scott was a resident of Reimer's Avenue, Mount Albert.
