SOMETHING NEW IN VICE-REGAL ENTERTAINMENT.—About 800 citizens, representing the industrial life of Auckland, were entertained at a garden party at Government House ea Saturday by their Excellencies, Sir Charles and Lady Alice Fergusson- This departure from the usual Vice-Regal entertainment was also made in the Southern centres. Their Excellencies have extended further invitations for a similar garden party to be held next Saturday.
