OVER A BANK.
GISBORNE CAR CAPSIZED.
DRIVER AND WIFE INJURED.

OPOTIKI, this day. Two persons were injured in a car accident yesterday on Opotiki-Motu Road. Mr. E. Fryer, accompanied bv Ins wife, was returning to Gisborne trom Opotiki, when his car went over a bank on a dangerous Meremere hill. The car fell about forty feet and was extensively damaged. The occupants of the car had had a miraculous escape from death. Both were brought back to Opotiki and received medical attention.
