NEW AEROPLANES.
FOR WIG RAM AERODROME. PLANS NOT YET APPROVED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. It. is unofficially reported that in the next few months at least six additional new aeroplanes will arrive from England for the Wigrarn Aerodrome. At present the equipment of this aerodrome consists of seventeen machines. Most.of these are several years old, the only recent acquisitions being the Glos-ter-Orpbe and the DH 50 planes. It i 9 probable that one of the DH 9 machines, which has been stripped for some time, will shortly be written off as unserviceable. '
Major T. M. Wilkes said the whole of the plans had yet to be approved by Cabinet, and until that was done no announcement could be made.
