SOMETHING UNUSUAL.
Poincare Speech Without War Guilt Reference. GERMANY PLEASED. LONDON, April 2. The Berlin correspondent of the "Daily Mail" says the newspapers there give prominence to a speech made on Sunday by the French Premier, M. Poincare, at Carcassonne, in the depart - ment ol the Aude. In this he suggested that it was possible an international conference might soon be held to deal with the problems arising out of the Dawes plan. Particular attention is drawn to M. Poincare's conciliatory tone, also to the fact that he made no allusion to Germany's responsibility for the Great War. — (Sydney "Sun.")
