In the ladies' doubles of the Whangarei Tennis Club's competitions. Mrs. Arneil and Miss Higginson defeated Misses Matheson and A. MacKny, 6—2, o—3. The ladies' singles resulted: —Mrs. Arneil v. Miss M. Stevens, 0-—2, 6—-1. In the men's handicap doubles, Day and defeated Waymouth and Riley, 0—4,8 —0. MORRINSVILLE CLUB. The final between the two leading teams in the percentage fours competition of the Morrinsville Bowling Club was plaj*ed oif Saturday and a very keen game was witnessed.
