With only a 300 yards shoot to complete, C. X. White, a high school boy, and the youngest member of, the Whangarei Rifle Club, has secured a lead difficult to overtake in the service championship, after the week-end shoot. TAIHAPE, Monday. A rifle contest was held at the Utikn rifle range on Saturday between Tltiku and the Legion of Frontiersmen. The match resulted in a win for the Utikn Club by a margin of 52 points on the aggregate. The totals being. Utiku 586, Legion of Frontiersmen 534. Details of the scoring are:— Utikn.—H.
