GALLOPS AT RANDWICK.
GOTHIC'S FIXE PERFORMANCE. (Received 1.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, this day. In the semi-final gallops at Randwick, on the course proper, a dense fo°and heavy atmosphere discounted the chance of any records being made. Gothic, however, put up a wonderful performance, covering seven furlonas in 1.30J, defeating Vaals. Winalot defeated Glenariff over eleven furlongs in 2.40. Limerick, wearing a bandage on his off hind fetlock, travelled at half-speed only. Pilliewinkie and Trivalve covered ten furlongs in 2.185. Reonui worked at a fast pace, and Zaragoza covered six furlongs in 1.20.
