T.B. TREATMENT.
EXPERT INVESTIGATION. THREE MEMBERS OF MINISTER'S REQUEST. (By Telegraph.— Special to "Star.")
WELLINGTON, this day. A step of the first importance is grappling with the tuberculosis probles in New Zealand has just been taken the Hon. J. A. Young, Minister of Pubße Health. Mr. Young has written to tie British Medical Association requesting it to nominate three of its members to form a committee to investigate the position.
The three medical men, who will be appointed a commission under the Public Health Act, will go into the question of prevention and treatment of tuberculosis from every point of view. It i> understood that they will be given ft free hand and be invited to comb the country in order to get a thorough understanding of the situation, and that they will also be asked to express their opinion as to the efficacy of existing methods, and what others, if any, should be adopted.
