Step To Attain Smooth Running. SHIPBUILDING PEACE PAULEY. (Received 12 noon.) RUGBY, April 1. An important development which completes the machinery for maintaining peace in the shipbuilding industry has been taken by the Shipbuilding Employers' Federation and the Shipyard . ra .^ e Unions, who have issued a joint invitation to Mr. H. P. Macmillan, the ( well-known King's Couhsel, to be the independent chairman of a national conference, to be held under an agreement, reached last year. Mr. Macmillan has accepted the post.
