j The Depot Committee of the Anck- | land Hospital Auxiliary met on Fridar, Mrs. E. J. Prer.dersast presiding. It was reported that during 35 families had been given relief and several parcels of children's clothing had been sent to the country. Hospital wards had been visited and a lar»e quantity of garments. shoes, books, flowers, cigarettes and other comforts distributed, some in the wards and th* remainder to dependent* who called at the depot. The Mount Eden branch taken patients for a motor drive. ' Gratification was expressed that the sewing circle was resuming its activities as the depot was in great need of more garments. It was pointed out that the depot was in urgent need of warm clothing for distribution during the winter months. c
