A NEW PARKING STATION.

The fact that motorists are realising the danger of leaving their cars at the mercy of the weather, and of casual street damage by parking them on the open thoroughfares, has been responsible for the excellent system of Parking and Car Service now in our midst. Cars are exposed alternately to sun, wind and rain, are covered with dust or splashed with mud. In consequence, tyres, paintwork and hood quickly deteriorate. The Shortland Parking Station, newly opened, is handy to the heart of the city, having entrances from Shortland Street and Chancery Street. It is at the service of motorists all day and all night. A bell after eleven immediately brings an attendant, who is on the spot for the purpose of night service.

Special arrangements can be made for longer periods, and for the safe storage of cars. A feature which will appeal to ladies who wish to park their cars for an hour whilst they are shopping is the small charge of 1/ for that, period and one penny an hour after.
