EXHIBITION OF ETCHINGS.
Messrs. Milne and Choyce, in conjunction with the Australian PainterEtchers' Society, will open an exhibition of artist proof etchings on Wednesday next, April 4. The exhibition will be under the management of Mr. Ernest Finlay, 8.A., the official representative cm the society, and will be open for a fortnight. Over 100 etchings from leading Australian artists will be presented, In addition to a score of works from the members of the Sydney Etching School. Inclnded will be about 40 plates from the studio of the president (Mr. Sydney Long, Associate of the Royal PainterEtchers' Society, Eng.), and among these will be nine works which have been hung at the Royal Academy. Mr. Thomas Friedensen, Mr. Sydney Ure Smith (managing director of "Art in Australia") Mr. Herbert Gallop, Mr. Bruce Robertson, Mr. E. Warner, and Mr. Fred Britten are also* represented.
