HANSARD COULD TELL.
PREMIER'S REPLY. (Received 10.30 a.m.) OTTAWA, March 30.
Shown Lord Salisbury's denial that Canada was asked to participate in the Egyptian Treaty, the Premier, Mr, Mackenzie King, said: "I don't know what was cabled to London regarding my speech but what I did say is in Hansard and the facts of the case are as stated there. Canada was asked to be a party to the treaty and should there be any doubt about it, I would be glad, with the consent of the British Government, •to have the correspondence laid on the table."
