DROWNED IN SHEEP DIP.
DEATH OF FARMER'S rurrw MOTHER ARRIVED TOO LATE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TE KUITI, this. day. A child aged three and a-half Tears, the son of Mr. George Smith, farmer, of Kaeaea, near Aria, was drowned yesterday afternoon in a sheep dip. Evidence given at the inquest disclosed that the boy was playing near the dip with his younger brother when he fell in. The other child, aged two vears, informed his mother, but ten minutes elapsed before her arrival, and life was extinct. A verdict of accidental death waa returned.
