MY DREAM GIRL.
On fairy cloud she glides. My dream-girl fair, With goldon hair, She e'er with me abides; She haunts my mind, And care I find nhere once dwelt calm repose Her eyes sky-blue, And lips rose hue. All petty whims depose. Her slave I be— I'd not be free To serve another maid 111 Heaven or earth, For rank or worth. Nor if I were in diamonds paid. I only pray That come the day When I may press her near, Her rose lips meet In kisses sweet; Her wraith 1 worship dear. —M. HUTTON WHITELAW.
