The sewing committee of the Hospital Auxiliary, jneeta again next Tuesday to resume their labours for the sick, which have brought so much comfort to many poor people. The committee, under Mrs. L. T. Rapson, who is convenor, and Mrs. Oxley, secretary, makes up shirts, pyjamas and nightdresses for those who cannot afford these necessities when they are forced by sickness into the hospital. The children, too, are Orte of their cares, and they make their singlets and little night Clothes. Pyjamas are one of the articles of which they never seem able to meet the demand. Some of these are taken away when the patients leave the wards, and flannel shirts for the old men are also always needed.
