KAETIHI. RAETIHI, Friday. The Raetihi Football Clnb has appointed the following officers: Patron. Dr. W. J. Feltham ; president, Mr. J. Winks; vicepresidents, Messrs. Coury, Scarfe, Neary, Drury, Sandford, G. Anderson, L. Flank, W. Thomson, Slattery, Sigley, W. Watson, H. Thompson, X. Ward, senior, Ritchie, T. Punch, Chestnut, J. Laing; secretary and treasurer, Mr. F. J. Thomson; auditor, Mr. W. Thomson; committee, Messrs. J. Anderson, J. Plank, A. Dobson; club captain, Mr. B. Alger; coach, Mr. li. The annual meeting of the Otorohanga Football Club was held on Thursday night, Mr. A. J. McCready in the chair and 20 members present. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £4 16/7 on hand. It was decided to affiliate with the Otorohanga sub-union and to nominate one senior and one junior team.

At a meeting of hockey enthusiasts held on Thursday night it was decided to form a men's hockey club, to be known as the Otorohanga Men's Hockey Club. Mr. C. Brown was elected president, together with six vice-presidents; patron, Mr. F. Phillips: committee, Messrs. T. Morgan. L. Sweetman, A. Patterson, C. Cullen and O. Letham; club captain. Mr. L. Morgan: vice-captain, Mr. G. McCready; coach, Mr. IV. Babe; delegates to union, Messrs. L. Swettman, J. Craddock and R. Lee; secretary, Mr. J. Craddock.

At a meeting of the executive of the Sports Club, held on Thursday night, it wai decided to have ten automatic judge? mad* for use in the chopping events at the Easte* sports. On Thursday evening a farewell social was tendered Mr. and Mrs. Moore, who are leaving shortly. The guests of the evening were the recipients of two handsome silver-mounted suit case. . The Levin Cup had beeen won for the fourth time and the Challenge Shield for the fifth year. The club's A team had won the local seven-a-side tournament and the B team had been runners-up. The Adsett Shield had also beeu won by the team, defeating Taumarunui at Taumarunni. The junior team had won the .Tones Challenge and the Charity Cup three years in succession. while the thirds had won the Competition Shield. Charity Cup.
