CHRISTIAN CONVENTION.

NGARUAWAHIA EASTER CAMPS. The Christian interdenominational convention will be held for the eighth time in succession at Ngaruawahia from Good Friday to Easter Monday inclusive. The enrolments to date are up to expectations, and show that the benefit of the gathering is being felt in all parts of the North Island, Wellington, Gisborne, Palmerston' North and Wanganui being well represented. The convention invites all Christian people to come irrespective of their denominational affiliations for Bible study, prayer and fellowship on purely spiritual lines. The management is in the hands of laymen representing various denominations. Much blessing has been experienced in the past, as is evidenced by the fact that twelve have gone from the convention to foreign lands as missionaries and ten are now in training. The speakers this year are: Mr. J. D. Maitland Kirwan, general secretary of the British Syrian Mission, London; Rev. L. Sale Harrison, who was for ten years pastor of the Ashfleld Baptist Church, Sydney, and is now en route to the Baptist World Congress in Canada as delegate from New South Wales, and Dr. William H. Pettit, of Auckland.
