ELLERSLIE TRAINING NOTES.
THIS MORXIXG'S WORK. The weather was fine during training operations at Ellerslie this morninw The course proper outside three trestles was open for fast work and was freelv used. J Course Proper. Salamander was the first to work and went nicely over six furlongs in 1.25. Huephano and Winsome Boy were on terms at the end of six furlongs in 1.24 A Gold Money and King Emerald sprinted five furlongs in 1.5 4-5. ILcy went from the mile post and wen pulled up at the top of the straight. The Fox took 1.21 3-5 to run home from the six furlongs post. Eager Rose sprinted but was not timed. Parfait Amour pleased by running six furlongs in 1.22 1-5. " , ii C °o - Free Mas sent over a mile, taking 1.3< --5 to run the last seven furlongs. Diamond Queen traversed six furlongs m 1.21 3-5. 0 Archibald galloped strongly over a round, which he covered in 2.11 3-5. Tea Money and Jollie Monov sprinted home from the three furlong post in 41 l-ss. Bulolo went nicely over six furlongs in 1.23 4-5. He carried a good weight" Bonibarder strode over six furloners in 1.28 3-5. Tea Tattle and Roman Pearl sprinted three furlongs in 425. Princess Ronnie registered a good gallop over six furlongs. She covered the first two in 26 l-5s and the full distance in 1.19 2-5. Kauri Park and Xola Xiglit ran seven furlongs in 1.40 3-5, the former jioiii" tlio best. 0 Good Boy ran half-a-mile in 56 l-ss, and Cynthia X. covered a similar journey in 57 2-ss. Jumpers. Sea Comet (Hastings) cleared the steeplechase fences on the flat in a taking manner. Mashoor (Regan) aud Kamehameha (Williams) were companions over the same fences, both jumping in good style. Kamehameha was schooled over the same obstacles a second time in company with Clockwork (Edwards) both horses giving a promising display.
