Corruption And Prohibition Main Issues. U.S. PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) NEW YORK, March 29. Mr. W. E. Borah, who originally expressed the view that the subject of prohibition would be a paramount issue in the coming Presidential election, delivered a widely broadcast radio speech last night.

He warned the Republican party that allegations of corruption and the question of prohibition cannot be avoided in the coming campaign.

"It looks as if we are going to have a bitter campaign," said Mr. Borah, "in which no man will be safe and no woman will be spared who comes within reach of the firing line.

"It is proposed by the leaders of both parties in the campaign to trade principles for votes."

Mr. Borah added that corruption and prohibition were questions closely affectM g the constitution and that neither parties nor voters could escape these issues. '
