MR. L. HAMES RESIGNS. NEW PC _ii"* T '" > N IN AUCKLAND. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. Mr. L. Hames, who, for the past twenty years has been secretary of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, and the companies which preceded it, will relinquish his position at the end of this jonth to take up the secretaryship c the Amalgamated Dairies, Ltd., Auckland.
Mr. Hames has been an exceedingly valuable officer to the big Waikuto company, and his service to the industry will be generally acclaimed tlirou~L.. .l South Auckland. His loss to the company will be greatly felt, for his long and unbroken association with dairying in the district has given liim a knowledge of the industry that is possessed, probably, by no other man. In his new office lie will, indirectly, still be associated with his old company. Mr. Hames will be succeeded in the secretaryship by Mr. G. W. G. Thomson, who at present is accountant to the company.
