WIRELESS WAVES.
N.Z. HEARD NEAR POLE.
NEW YORK, March 23.
How close is New Zealand to Alaska! Captain G. H. Wilkins, the explorer, who is now at Point Barrow, is trying to answer this question in terms of radio. With his portable set he is having some difficulty in communicating with the station at Seward, Nebraska, because of interference from other stations. When the identity of these was traced it was found they included one in New York city and two in New Zealand, 0.Z.V.A.0. and O.Z.V.E.D.
