animal attacks motor car. A Maidstone motorist, driving home at night from London, caught in hi* headlights, at the top of Wrotham Hill, a full-grown fox. As the car approached the fox ran along the road in the beam of the lights ror over half a mile. Before the motorist could alight the fox recovered and cantered off asain down the road, still in front of the ear After another half-mile it collapsed from exhaustion, and the motorist killed it, but not before it had bitten a lame piece out of his overcoat.
