YOUNG MAN REMANDED.
Michael EdvvanJ Boyle, a young man; ho was arrested by Detective Sergeant Hlekerdike, appeared before Mr. W. R. MeKean, S.M., at the Police Court today on a charge of stealing from the person of- Robert Adam Grover, the sum of £5 and a bunch of keys valued at 3/, at Paeroa on March 17. He was further charged, on the same date with stealing from the steamer Taniwha, the sum of £15 belonging to Grover.
Chief Detective Hammond obtained a remand until March 2!>.
Accused, who was repreesnted by Mr. .1. J. Sullivan was allowed bail in one Miretv of £")0.
