"° n w z z e - pon itß fifth year ' is i j Membershl P w as previously confined to ex-Dunedin residents, but it has now been decided to make eligible for . membership any person who has resided south of the Waitaki River for twelve months, provided the nominee is now resident in Auckland. Contingent on , this alteration of qualifications a proposal was made to change the name to t Otago Club, but the meeting decided to retain the old name. ; , The report stated that seven socials had been held in the course of the year, and all had been well attended. There had also been increased interest in the card tournaments. The past season had shown the club to be firmly established and high hopes were held for future success. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr. Justice Herdman; president, Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M.; vice-presidents, same as last year with the addition of Messrs. J. B. Gilmour and W. H. Osmond; management committee, Messrs J. Oliver, F. S. T. Little, B. B. Hooper, A. E. Hammer, A. T. Loner, W. H. Faulkner, J. A. Gow, R. M. Falconer, A. O. Glasse, J. E. Bay and E. B. Clark; hon. secretary, Mr. C. Munn; trustees, Messrs. F. S. T. Little and W. H. Faulkner; hon. treasurer, Mr. L. W. Swan; hon. auditor, Mr. J. A. Sheriff; hon. accompaniste, Mrs. R. N. Reed; hostess-, Mrs. K. Raymond.
