THOMPSON WINS.
SCHOOL INSPECTOR REMOVED
CHICAGO, March 22.
The Mayor of Chicago, Mr. William Thompson, has won his six months' fight against the dissemination of "pro-British propaganda" in the schools. The Board of Education by eight votes to two has decided to remove Mr. William Mac Andrew from his position as superintendent of schools. The board held that all the charges brought against Mr. Mac Andrew had been sustained by the evidence.
