TROUNSON PARK.
In a recent article on "a trip through the Far North on a bicycle" the author says he could find no pathways through the kauri forest at Trounson Park and could only make a detour round the outskirts. For the information of tourists who intend visiting this wonderful bushland, I wish to state that there are many clearly defined pathways throughout both the Government kauri forest and Trounson Park. Just near the caretaker's house is a fine clear camping ground (AAA.) and from it begin several paths marked "To the Big Tree" or "To the Waterhole," etc. KAURL
