STOCK ROUND THE CORNER.
A Wanganui motorist writes to the local Automobile Association suggesting that drovers of sheep or cattle should stand at corners and wave a red flag or blow a whistle to warn motorists that their stock is in the way, although not in view. He states that stock hidden around a corner constitutes a real danger to motorists and some warning should be given to enable automobile owners pull up in time. The association thinks that the only solution is for motorists to go slowly round corners.
