BRITISH ATHLETES.
MAY VISIT NEW ZEALAND.
(By Telegraph —Special to "Star.")
WELLINGTON", Wednesday.
Local advice is that there is a distinct possibility that "Dr. A. B. Porritt,' the New Zealand sprinter, and' Lord Burgh ley, the University hurdles champion, will visit the Dominion after th/e Olympic Games.. Both are in the running for nomination as British representatives at Amsterdam. Dr. Porritt is expected to make the journey to the Dominion soon to visit his family, and Lord Burghley, a dose friend and his best man-at his "wedding, probably will accompany him. Now Dr. Porritt is attempting to induce D. G. A. Lowe, the Olympic hall-nfile champion, and one of the greatest runners in the world, to visit New Zealand at the same time, and Lowe appears to be taken with the idea. Definite advice is expected at an early date. . ■ •;
