COUNTY NOTIf-ffi - : QOUOTT OF WAITKMATA. Notice Is hereby given that a Spsclal Meeting of the Waitemata County Council will be held on FRIDAY, the 20th day of April, 1925, at Noon, at the County Offices, corner of Shortland and Princes Streets, Auckland, when the following Special Resolution, passed at a Special Meeting of the said Council, held on the 17th day of February. 1928, will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order: "That the Waitemata County Council do hereby make a By-law drawn for that purpose under the provisions of The Counties S?' ~T h? Uealth Act. 1920, The ? nWi^5 orks Act > 1908, The Harbours Act, 19-3, The Public Reserves and Domain Boards Act, 1908, The Water Supply Act, 1908, and amendments thereto respectively, and all other, (if any) the powers and authorities it thereunto enabling, the object being to control the erection of buildings in the County of Waitemata, to fix the minimum area on which buildings may be erected, to provide for " inner" a ? out® 1 "" areas as to the application of the By-law, to provide generally for the method of construction of buildings erected in the County, to prescribe the conditions on which the heavy traffic may use the County Roads, and regulating the weights which may be carried on any vehicle, to provide for the cost of reinstating the roads, to be borne by the persons damaging same, to govern the use of footpaths in the County, and generally prescribing for the control of roads and streets in the County ; to control generally vehicles applying for hire in the County, and for lighting and maintenance of same, and time-tables in connection therewith; to provide generally for the sanitation of the County and disposal of refuse and nightsoil; to prescribe generally for the control of waterworks in the County, and charges to be imposed in connection therewith; to prescribe generally , the conditions on which drainage works may be carried out in the County; and That this special resolution do operate as a Special Order. A sum not exceeding £5 Is provided for imposition for any breach of the By-law, a copy of which is deposited at the said County Office, and which will remain open for inspection by the public during office hours for at last thirty days immediately preceding the date of the Special Meeting to be held as aforesaid, viz., on the 20th day of April, 1928.
