BRANCH AT MORNIN GSIDE.
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
A brancli of the New Zealand Labour party was forzned at Morningside last evening, when, a> a well-attended meeting convened for the purpose, the opinion was expressed that the time was ripe for the extension of the activities of the movement in the suburb. Mr. O. Mason was elected chairman pro tem., and Mrs J. Toomath was appointed secretary. Messrs. P. Vaugli, W. McVeigh, H. B. Hurley and W. Delich were chosen as the committee, while twenty members were enrolled.
A room for the holding of meetings has. been secured. Social functions are to be arranged by the branch, and members of the Parliamentary Labour party will be invited to address the electors.
