Father Broughton who, for t!ie past live years has been in charge of the Baetihi-Ohakunc parochial district, has received notico of transfer to Carterton. Father Broughton has been an ardent worker in church affairs in tlie Ohakune district. aDil lias been very popular with the people. Tho Rev. Father Sweeny, of Taihapc, will succeed Father Broughton.
