Missing New Zealander Turns Up. CHARGE AGAINST CAPT. CANT. ■Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, February 6. Captain IL Cant, the New Zealand sea captain who was reported missing on • fanuary 10, as the result of extensive inquiry regarding his whereabouts, called at the Bi*hopsgate police station, and as a sequel lie was charged at Bow Street on Saturday with misappropriation of New Zealand Government funds. He was remanded. A cable on January 11 from London stated that the pulice were searching for Captain K. Cant, who went Home from New Zealand to bring out the steamer Maui l'omare. His disappearance followed the receipt of a message from New Zealand, to which Captain Cant did not reply. A further message a month later invited a reply to the first cable. It was 6tated in Dublin that Captain Cant left for Liverpool a month earlier. The High Commissioner's office also assisted in the .search.
