At a meeting of the club, held last evening, the following programme was adopted: — Class A Handicap, Eight Laps, £10, £3, £2.—Open tc machines and riders which have lapped better than 5Gs. Class Ii Handicap, Five Laps, £S, £3, £2. —Open to machines and riders which have lapped better than 595, but not better than 54s per lap. Class A Handicap, Eight Laps, £12. £3, £2, £I.—Open to riders ami machines which have lapped better than otis per lap. Challenge Handicap. WHEN "SKID" IS ENCOUNTERED. As a rule skidding is not dangerous if the car is travelling at a low rate of speed, and traffic on the street is not heavy.
