Boxing Activity The World Over. THE SYDNEY RESULTS. SYDNEY, February 5. In a boxing match at the Sydney Stadium last evening Tiger Payne knocked out Bruno Frattini in the third round, with a heavy uppereut to the jaw. The Italian was ahead on points when Payne gave the finishing punch. At the Melbourne Stadium Bob Miller beat Teddy Murton on points, in a fast and clever contest of 15 rounds. EUROPEAN FEATHER-WEIGHTS. COFENHAGEN, February 5. A 15-rounds contest for the Europeai feather-weight boxing championship between Quadrini, the Italian titlai holder, and Knud Larsen, the Danisk champion, resulted in a draw.— (A. au§ N.Z. and Sydney "Sun."J EXIT MIKE McTIGUE. NEW YORK, February 5. In a 10-rounds boxing contest Leo Lomski defeated Mike McTigue. ENGLISH BOXING TOURNEY. LONDON, February 5. The Royal Navy and Cambridge University were in equal position, with 12 points each, at the annual boxing tournament at Portsmouth, when SubLieutenant Eunson Campbell, Royal Australian Navy, met Saunders-Jaeobs, Trinity College, in the light-heavy-weight contest, and knocked him out within a couple of seconds. He thus scored the points which gave the Navy victory. Australia's other representative, Sub-Lieutenant R. J. Hodge, was beaten in the second round of the welter-weight contest by Cotton., of King's College. INTERNATIONAL SOCCER. WALES DEFEATS IRELAND. LONDON, February 5.
