ESCAPE FROM DROWNING.
BATHER AT NARROW NECK.
Caught by the undertow at Narrow Neck Beach, Mr. Eyler, of 5, Ferry Hill Road, Epsom, had a narrow escape from drowning yesterday afternoon. He was swimming from the rocks under the fort where there is a rather awkward tide rip. Finding himself in difficulties, he called for help and was xieard by Mr. JFinch, of Clu-shire Road. Parnell, who was in the water about ."iflyds away. Mr. Eyler had sunk when Mr.* Finch reached him. Fortunately, in nts struggles, Mr. Fyler managed t'> his resc-uer, who set out for the shore. Both men were exhausted when Mr. Kerz. of Symonds Street, saw their plight and helped them to the beach.
