ELDERLY MAN KILLED.
KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR.
(By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. George Partridge, an elderly man, was knocked down by a motor car at the corner of Colombo Street and Lichfield Street at about 11.35 a.m. and died from his injuries in the Christchurch Hospital this afternoon. He was bleeding from the light ear when he was picked up, and he was taken to the hospital immediately.
