DEEP-SEA FISHING.
NEW ARRIVALS AT RUSSELL. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent,} RUSSELL, this day. Two arrivals by the Clansman yesterday were Messrs. Howard Heinz and Flinn, United States, guests of the Zano Grey Sports Club at Oteliei Bay. Ia the afternoon they went big game fishing, and Mr. Flinn landed a mako shark of 1491b. He is much interested in the sport, this being liis first experience, in New Zealand waters. They expect to remain a month. Fishing from the launch Avalon, Mr. Wliite-YVickVftm, of London, caught a swordfish of 2271b. Captain Cooper arrived last evening.
