If you think the amount is unreasonable defend any claim on that ground. STUDENT.—Rates cannot be recovered after three years from the time when they first became due. Kates ore due fourteen days after they are demanded. DISTRACTED.—Next time the fellow becomes abusive or is drunk, call in the police. RENE. — (1) The mortgagee may sue you for the principal and interest, or" he may sell the property and recover anv loss from you. (2) Your husband cannot pet a senaration order without just ground g. He may, of course. leave you without good grounds, hut he would then be liable to maintain you. ANXIOUS.—You should apply to the Supreme Court for permanent maintenance. BEQUEST. —(1) If the trustee has satisflned all debts and contingent liabilities of the estate he may distribute any moneys in his hands without waiting until the whole estate is realised (2) On applying to the Court a trustee may be allowed a commission not exceeding five per cent. G.T.—The widow's pension is payable onlv so long as the widow has dependent upon her children under the age of 15 years. WORRIED. —If the noise constitutes a nuisance and is unreasonable in your locality, you may obtain an injunction from the Supreme Court preventing your neighbours from creating the nuisance any longer. WORRIED. —(1) You are liable, but need not worry about it, as the offence is not serious. You would probably not be fined at all. (2) You should have the child registered as soon as possible. EMPLOYER.—(I) You may draw up nn agreement if you like, but you would only have yourself to blame if it turned out to be so badly drawn as to be unenforceable. (2) In most cases the stamp duty is 1/3.
