Cutten, S.M., of the danger of the practice of holding on to another moving vehicle. Mr. G. R. Hogan, chief traffic inspector, prosecuted. The following were fined 5/ with costs:—J. C. Dando, A. Court, D. B. Alaxey, J. Davidson, F. Emms, D. Cooper, H. Bevin, E. Crichton, N. Simpson and T. Dodd.

Dangerous driving cost O. Jensen, W. Urquhart, D. Hannet, H. H. Hook and E. Erwood £2, with costs.

Fines of £1 with costs were imposed en J. Lawson, D. Shannon, T. Meredith, J. Collet, and J. Raynor for leaving cuses on unauthorised stands. Breaches of the various parking bylaws cost W. Hulme and A. Irving £1 with costs, and A. Anderson, T. Lally, C. R. Barrett and W. Dufaur 10/, with costs. '

Fines of £1 with costs were imposed on W. W. Graham for turning to the right at a prohibited corner, and on T. A. Boler for having no rear number plate, and 10/, with costs, on J. Miller and A. For speeding the following were dealt with: Sydney Raymond August, £3, "pins costs; Mervyn WillianfS, £2 artrt costs; aud Charles Creeks, Gladys Geddes and Rex King, each £1 aud costs. Passing a stationary tramcar cost Leonard Wilson a fine of £1 and costs, while for permitting a motor car to be used without an endorsed certificate and license Herman Geddes was fined £1 and costs. Herman Xinkie, who did not possess a driver's license, had to pay £1 and costs. A number of others, who had either failed to have lights on their cars or who had left their cars too long in parking areas, were fined the usual amount, 10/ and costs.
