Mrs. H. Valder and Miss Valdcr are a holiday motoring in the Rotorua district. Mrs. Houston, of Whangarei, is staying in Cambridge. Miss Sinclair, of Hamilton, is on a visit to friends in Hastings. Mrs. Hamilton, of Gisborne, has been the guest of Mrs. G. Hyde, Hamilton. Miss I. Jordan, of Te Kuiti, is the guest of Miss M. Christophers, Cambridge. Mrs. G. Upham, of Wellington, has been staying in Hamilton. Mrs. R. McGlade, of Wellington, was in Hamilton during the week. Mrs. M. Anderson has returned home to Cambridge from an enjoyable holiday at Tauranga. Mrs. and Miss Lambert, of Wellington, have been staying in Hamilton. Mrs. Little, of Feilding, is the guest of her sister. Mrs. Sutnerland, Cambridge. Miss D. Gordon, of Christ* church, was in Hamilton during the week. Mrs. W. Harphara, of Tauranga, has been on a visit to Cambridge. Miss G. Eggleston, of Hamilton, is away on a holiday visit to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. Duncan, of Wanganui, have been staying with Mrs. C. Rout, at Cambridge. Miss Rucroft, of Hamilton, has been spending n holiday in Hastings. Miss Mills, of Wellington, lias been the guest of Mrs. F. B. Jolly, at Wharepuliunga, Mrs. A. C'arr, of Palmerston North, has been staying in Hamilton. Mrs. W. G. Neild lias returned to Te Poi from a holiday spent in Wanganui. Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Wright, of Dannevirke, are on a visit to Hamilton. Miss E. Norrisli has returned to Hamilton from a visit to R.itorua. Mr. and Mrs. Kelobrie, of Wellington, were in Hamilton during the week. Mr. and Mrs. G. Lane, of Ohakune, have been on a visit to Hamilton. Mr. and Mrs. H. Bayly, of New Plymouth, are visiting Hamilton. Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Hobbs, of Melbourne, were in Hamilton during the week. Mrs. F. Gruyar has returned to Hamilton from a holiday spent at Mon Desir, Takapuna. Miss G. Hill has left Hamilton to reside in Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. H. Graham, of Auckland, are on a visit to Hamilton. Mrs. McKelvie, of Wellington, is staying in Hamilton. Miss I. Martin has returned to Wellington from a holiday spent in Hamilton. Miss M. Mebam has returned to Hamilton from a visit to Napier.

A most delightful garden party was given by Miss Christophers at Cambridge. The guests spent a most enjoyable time, clock golf and deck tennis were played under the trees. There was a large attendance at the Hamilton bowling green on Wednesday, when a number of enthusiasts from Auckland played at Hamilton. The visitors were welcomed by the president, Mr. G. W. Hyde. A number of friends were entertained at afternoon tea on Friday at the home

of Mrs. E. B. Cox, Cambridge. Mrs. Cox was wearing a smart black and white silk frock and black hat; Miss Cox. floral georgette, blue hat. The guests were: Mesdamcs C. Hunter, J. Lewis, Neely, Houston (Whangarei). Little (Feilding), Misses Gwynneth Attfield, D. Neely and E. Attfield.

A jolly dance was held in the hall at Ngahinapo-uri, when Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Ryburn entertained the residents at a dance in honour of their daughter's marriage. The decorations were carried out in orange and green streamers and th* supper tables were beautifully arranged with pale pink flowers. Mrs. J. J. Ryburn wore a saxe-blue georgette frock; Miss Ryburn. smart green and silver tissue dress. The evening: concluded with singing "Auld Lang Syne" and "For They arc Jolly Good Fellows."
