FEILDING STOCK SALE.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) FEILDING, Friday. There was a fair entry of sheep at the Feilding sale to-day, but very few cattle were forward. The yarding of sheep was mainly of lambs, practically all shorn. There was a strong demand for all blackfaced lines, which sold at prices decidedly in advance of those of last week, but white-faced sheep were hard to sell. The majority of two-tooth ewes were passed in. Two-tooth wethers sold at 22/3 to 22/4; one good line of four and five-vear-old ewes, 23/6; good shorn black-faced rape lambs, 18/ to 19/1; fair, 16/4 to 17/medium, 12/8 to 15/6; good early-sliorn Romney wether lambs, 15/; medium shorn, white-faced wether lambs, 12/ to 14/3. Fat sheep sold on a par with last week. Few store cattle were offered. One line of big rough bullocks marie £7; a few fat Shorthorn cows, £6 10/; light fat bullocks, £9 7/6.
