That much interest will be taken in the coming visit of Miss Maude Rovden to New Zealand was shown by the number of societies represented "at a preliminary meeting held at the Pioneer Club, Wellington, 011 Tuesday to make tentative arrangements for her reception and entertainment. Miss Chave Collin90ii, her "forerunner," will bo here early next month, and a number of suggestions were brought forward, which will be handed on to her. An offer of hospitality for Miss Rovden was received and mention was made of receptions to be given in her honour. It is hoped that her visit will not be such a '"flying" one that Auckland women will not have an opportunity of meeting Miss Rovden personally. Those who have heard her speak or preach in London arc charmed with her personality and power, and it is hoped that her visit to New Zealand may be made exceedingly pleasant and successful.
