A pleasing function took place on Saturday evening last, when the proprietors of "Hinemoa," Mr. and Mrs. J. Kennlngton, entertained all who had been engaged to tie work of erecting the new wing, consisting of 22 rooms, which has just been completed. The Mavor (Mr. R. Coulter), In proposing the toast of the proprietors, congratulated them on their endeavour to cater tor tne many tourists seeking the best of accommodation the town can provide. Somers. at the conclusion of his address, presented a camera to Pr Lawrence, president of the cluh, on behalf of the members, and then called upon Mrs. L Mackie to drive the first ball and declare the courts open. The club's courts now have sufficient accommodation, and are in a condition to hold tournaments.
