MIDNIGHT ARREST.
WAKEFIELD ST. BURGLARY.
TWO MEN REMANDED.
About midnight last night detectives took into custody Arthur Edward Pill (43), and James Russell Hunter (41), each being charged with breaking and entering the shop of George Alfred Langford in Wakefield Street, on Saturday night last, and stealing cigarettes and tobacco valued at £8 9/4.
When they appeared at the Police Court this morning, Chief Detective Cummings asked for a remand until December 1.
This was granted.
